Wow! We arrived home yesterday and were so glad to be home! I two weeks we saw 20 States, the District of Columbia and Ontario Canada...we met new people, walked the road George Washington took when he crossed the Delaware, visited Valley Forge, walked the Freedom Walk in Boston, sat in the Old North Church, felt the deep painful sadness of Ground Zero as the fountains weep perpetually...so, so sad. We went to the Brooklyn Tabernacle for Sunday services and to hear their wonderful Pastor and choir, toured our nations Capitol, walked the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset, walked the streets of NY City and Washington D.C. - and rode the subway in both! We looked over NY City from the Empire State Building and rode over mountains in Vermont that wore their Fall colors. we rode the boat in the mist at Niagara Falls Canada, rode the ferry to the Statue of Liberty in NY, saw three of the Great Lakes, ate lobster in Maine and took sunset lighthouse pics while seals played in the water below us, we photographed wild horses on Assateague Island, found Maple Syrup in Vermont, saw the National Gallery of Art, ...it was a fabulous adventure - what a great country we have! The States we saw were: Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Rhode Island, Connecticut, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina.
